Ok, who stole Kiwi and replaced him with this other loving BFA? When I saw this going on, I just couldn't believe my eyes!

Presently have six Greenwing Macaw (17 yo), Red Fronted Macaw (12 yo), Red Lored Amazon (17 y.o.), Lilac Crowned Amazon (about 43 y.o.) and a Congo African Grey (11 y.o.)
Panama Amazon (1 Y.O.)
That's kinda the way my BFA Pecker was, except inside my shirt was "conure" domain. She was a head in the eye socket bird. My most bonded bird EVER!

When they decide to be lover birds, they are amazing.

April, that is so sweet! I'm glad you got photos, you can use them to remind Kiwi that you know what a little softy he can be.

I've always thought deep down somewhere there was a really sweet bird in him;) 'That' Kiwi just doesn't come out very often. As the years go by, we see 'super sweet Kiwi' more often though:)

Aww precious little Kiwi. Such a little cuddle bug. So glad he is showing his softer side more often.

Do you think he could have a word to Bundii? Maybe share some of his secrets. :)

Love the pics, April! Quite the cuddler Kiwi has become! Did he burrow under the shirt, or did your husband just decide to take a shot?

Joe thought he 'looked cold' (I assure you, it was plenty warm, he was puffy because he was resting like he does EVERY afternoon:rolleyes:) and decided to "warm" him up. He seemed surprisingly ok with being in his shirt, and was quite content in there:09: Now if *I* stuck him in my shirt, I may not get quite the same loving/cuddly results:54: He has been letting me kiss (not touch though) his head and back recently, so it's some progress:)

My galah's toenails are scratchy, she won't let me file her nails (we're working on it) and as the weather is getting warmer, I have bare legs and arms. My legs are covered in scratches. I SHUDDER to think what would become of me if I stuck her under my shirt. Kiwi is a far nicer person than she is.

How sweet!!!! I showed Husband, he kind of jumped and walked away mumbling, "he's crazy, Buddy would eat me alive if I did that!" ROTFL!!!!! I love how Kiwi is so loving and sweet..... Most of the time. You both have done so much with him it is amazing to see what patience and persistence can do.
