Long story short cookie hates my son, he always flies at him to try and attack, and cookie flew at my son a second ago and so he put up dish towel to shield himself but cookie kept coming closer so he flung the towel at cookie, cookie grabbed the towel and so he got flung to the ground with it and hit a chair with his flapping wing. He is ok now just sitting eating a almond but he is holding that wing a little lower than the other, he has flown around the house a few times since then and hasn't had an issue flying and he is holding it higher now, it looks pretty normal. Could his wing still be broken if he is flying perfectly and not holding his wing lower at all anymore ? :(

 Holy smokes, I'm truly sorry to hear Cookie is acting like a Kamekaze!

If he's able to fly, then no, his wing is most likely not broken. If he's worse tomorrow, I'd take him to the vet. If he's the same (or better), you should be good to go.

Hopefully there won't be any more attacks/accidents/incidents such as this one. :( Could have ended pretty badly.

When I first saw his wing drooping he was still on the flow and then he flew back to his cage from the ground, that's the only flying he has done since he went to the ground, would he even try to fly if his wing was broken ?

Can you handle the bird? Will he let you feel his wing? I'd advise taking him to the vet if you're unsure. Taking xrays needs to be discussed with your AV.

If his wing was broken, he would be screaming in pain. He may have 'strained' or 'pulled' something though. I agree with Wendy, keep an eye on him and if he worsens, vet time, if not, he's fine.

How old is your son? If he is old enough, it may be a good idea to start doing some socializing exercises with Cookie:) Amazons can be tough when they've decided they don't like someone, but with enough work (and yummy treats), they can be won over!

I would suggest getting his wings clipped though. My Amazon has flown at me during her breeding season so I am getting her wings clipped May 5th.
