When Sarah gets back we'll have to video some of this...

She completely destroyed all her wood toys, so I bought her a big new toy to play with when I was out at the flea market today.

Didn't have to tell her twice.

For anyone who thinks it's not possible to bite pressure train an amazon, or that you can't play rough with them without getting bloodied...

We played tug of war this afternoon - NOSE TO BEAK...

WITH MY NOSE!!!!

I am not making this up. Ask Stephen if you don't believe me....

When Sarah gets home. I really can't record it and play with her at the same time... but she's a goofball.

Maggie plays the exact same way. It's a sanity saver.

The "Hyde" in my flock right now is Sally. It's amazon breeding season, and she is extremely jealous of the attention being paid to other amazons.

Kiwi is as sweet as they ever get... I honestly don't see that changing any time soon. She's been properly socialized and bite pressure trained. She is an amazing zon.

Oh yeah, and she's put on a fair amount of weight since she's been here with me. She's filled out her frame. (Not fat, solid.) She's very active, and very strong.

Yep.

Just the zons.

The macaws and the CAG don't phase her. Paying attention to other zons right now pisses her off, big time...

Now keep in mind, at one point and time I had 8 zons including fosters!!! And she wasn't like that...

She is now!
