Amazon Blue Fronted.
Green Check Conure.
We also have a blue and gold macaw. Ekco the amazon is a male and the macaw is a male. We have a had them for just over a year. The amazon goes to attack my husband and the macaw, when the get close to me, or i get close to them. I immediately put the amazon in his cage. He also will not leave me when he is out with us. Is that the right thing to do .He was not like this before.:green:

Presently have six Greenwing Macaw (17 yo), Red Fronted Macaw (12 yo), Red Lored Amazon (17 y.o.), Lilac Crowned Amazon (about 43 y.o.) and a Congo African Grey (11 y.o.)
Panama Amazon (1 Y.O.)
1. It's amazon mating season. Could be a "seasonal" thing.

2. They're jealous birds, and they are pair bond birds. (They choose one mate, and mate for life. Sometimes they get species confused, and transfer this natural behavior to a person.)

3. This is probably an "overbonding" issue. Pair bond birds that overbond with one person tend to become aggressive with others when allowed to overbond.

I think I've got a behavior mod post on this. Can't explain more now, but I'll look for it at lunch.
