I have had some food poisoning, not fun, but Buddy has been my angel and buddy, as well as the pugs, Canelo, Venus ( in her own way), and Buzz.

Husband supplied me with chicken noodle soup and oyster crackers. Oyster crackers are small saltine crackers, I mean tiny crackers. Well leave it to Buddy to steal from my little bowl of oyster crackers, hold them in a foot and slowly savor them lol. I must say he lifted my spirits but got mad when I cut him off due to the salt content.

RIP Gandalf and Big Bird, you are missed.
I hope you are better now! Food poisoning can leave a lingering unsettled feeling days after the event.

Our pets can be extremely empathetic under these conditions!!

I do love oyster crackers. Way less soggy in soup than broken saltines.

Amazons are the suns around which everything else orbits.

It amazes me how sick you can be and my little green monster can make me smile. Thanks for all the well wishes. I don't think I'd wish food poisoning on anyone!

Hope you are feeling better now! Parrots are very sensitive to the health of their flock, and I would argue feel sympathy and empathy when a flock mate (even a human one) is ill. Amazons are also winged pigs, so I'm not surprised he stole all your crackers:D
