So tonight during our regular training session, because I saw Mr. BIGGLES doing something like it, I asked Salty to put a small whiffed ball into a cup I had in the training area. . No prior training, pleading or begging..... he does it and looked over his shoulder at me as if to say "And?? What else you got? ". These animals constantly amaze me.

Way to do Salty!

The average non-parrot person asks: So, does he do anything? Twenty minutes later with a dazed look wanders-off. Likely thinking; Wow, that must have been the guy with the bumper sticker: My Parrot is Smarter than your Kid!

I don t mean to brag.. well maybe just a bit, but he is always doing and saying new stuff.
A few nites ago: we always close out a training session by taking left over nuts, smooshing them up and giving them to Salty, a BIG treat, since he doesn't have to do anything for them . I call them " Schnibbles" . Dont you know Salty started saying Schnibbles when he sees me smooshing up the nuts. Quite a sight.. this little parrot hopping from foot to foot, saying 'Schnibbles! Schbibbles! '. Ach du lieber, miene kliene parrot!

Salty will have to teach Mr Biggles s few words ...so far all I have heard out of Mr Biggles is 2 attempts at Hello...
I bet Salty looks really cute dancing with excitement from one foot to the other asking for his Schnibbles I hope you can catch him on video doing this ...Good Boy Salty

Thats okay Im familiar with that problem here too and when it does upload for me it takes hours for a minute or just over of video...will look forward to seeing Nigel when you can get it to upload

Wow Al...Salty certainly is impressive. Don't you just love it when he pulls off something unexpected,and not even asked to do?
