The World sees it as a major blockage! An Amazon sees it as a simple / minor adjustment to a walk across the room! Yet another reason why Amazon's Rule!

I was pretty surprised how fast he picked it up. Now we have to work on climbing DOWN the stairs. That may be a bit more tricky;)

Our DYH Amazon always climbs stairs, but flies down them. Not sure what he would do if faced with a full long stairway, ours split at the half way point and he does well with that. Julio's first try with going down was not pretty and likely is why he choose to fly (really looks like an extended landing).

So, since Kimi is a not flier it will be interesting to see how he solves this. It has never been below an Amazon to use a Human when needed. :D

I like him to be as mobile as possible without having to by overly reliant on us. He is trained not to go down on the floor on his own, but does enjoy every so often when we put him down there and he gets to explore an entirely new plane of existence to him from his life in the domestic canopy;) He has taken great joy in waddling his happy little butt up the stairs, so I hope we can help him figure out a way to get down them too. I'm thinking if we use the right treat, the gears will start to turn and he'll figure it out:33:

Kiwi learned that so fast! I bet he learns to go down almost as easily.
