Kelly hates getting his nails done and I don't have to do them that often since he usually trims them pretty well himself. But a couple were getting pointy. Always looks like he got into a real fight afterwards and is mad about losing:rolleyes:

Man that looks like one pissed off parrot. I'd hate to see what the other guy looks like. Yikes.

Aw poor guy! He looks like a maniacal homeless man!

How has red been? Haven't had any updates on that dude lately! Need some photos!

Oh, boy do I know that look! Goofy hates having his nails done with every fiber of his being. MrC is the lucky one who gets to do that, though. He's the favorite human. I'd probably bleed to death from amazon beak sized puncture wounds if I tried.

Angry and clearly not happy about being restrained to have those nails done. I have long ago elected to have our Vet Tech be the focus of the evil Amazon eye and be the saving Human that our Amazon runs to afterwards!

Kelly can't hold a grudge against me for more than a few minutes! Lucky for sure on my part though he has no problem holding one against everyone else in the house.

Red is doing good. Still not sure when exactly I'm taking him home but he is very obviously my bird these days. Based on what I have seen from him he will most likely need to be an only macaw on my part. He doesn't mind other macaws but when I interact with another macaw and then go over to him its full on tantrum and grumpy mode. It's easy to tell him to get over it but I'm thinking it would be easier for me in the end to just have one mister grumpy jealous macaw!

Part of the problem with bringing him home is the explosion of snakes. I need to get enclosures and rearrange the setup in order to fit a macaw cage. I have room just everything is a little disorganized right now since I don't have all the adult cages. Once I have the second rack and at least one of the retic cages I'll be able to figure out how I'm organizing everything. I'm just unsure if I'm buying a 6ft or 8ft retic cage which will decide where I'm putting things........I may have a lot of animals:eek: Red is either going next to the bookcase or the garage door and the retic cage is either going next to the bookcase or my bed. I've been thinking next to the bed for the retic cage but I'm so undecided lol

Our YNA just adores MrC and won't hold a grudge against him for more than a few minutes. Everybody else, however, can go die in a fire for all he's concerned. He does occasionally like to interact with me, but only on his terms and only for short periods of time.
