So Yoshi is on two feedings and is doing well. The last two days ive been seeing that he's taking his formula less than the usual 30cc. Which is fine i guess they said that will happen. But right after he's done taking his formula, he starts having a tantrum. Ive been fedding him the exact same way nothing different other than his tantrum at the end of feeding. Is it just zon babytude?

Does Yoshi pull away from the feeding? You know , kind of walk away, like "I'm done now"?

What temp is the formula? If it cools too much ( to him) he may refuse it. If you have a second syringe ready, at warm temp, see if he takes it.

With Salty, I went from a syringe to a small spoon, and kept the formula warm by putting the bowl in a second one with very warm water in it , like a double boiler set up. Keeps the formula warm for the the whole feeding session.

Is Yoshi eating other foods ( pellets, veggies, fruit) ? They should be available to him
at all times. He'll eventually get interested in them and slowly wean himself to the 'real' food and take less and less formula.

Yes yoshi has other foods he eats. He had scrambled eggs with shell cooked in very little coconut oil. He's just discovered pistachios in shell and saw him eating a cashew today. Been trying fresh fruit and veggies but he does not seem interested. His formula is always the same temp. I feed him his formula while he's inside his cage. I think he just wants to come outside right away.

I'm surprised that you are feeding while your Amazon is in the cage. Try letting your 'big' boy' out of the cage and then feeding him and see if that makes a difference.

The only reason i do it because the breeder said not to handle him after the feedings for about 20 minutes because of his crop. I guess he is bigger and acting like a big boy. I guess he wants to eat outside. I guess ill try that tonight for his night feeding.
