This Amy here was at an exotics store as a consignment. They said she/he was nasty. Apparently the guy that had her was odd a regular there but no longer wanted it. He didn't leave much info.

It seemed to like me and follow me around and blew kisses and watched scratches. When I opened its door it started petting it's head it started obsessively trying to regurgitate. The funniest part was anyone else it seemed to hate.

They only wanted $550 for her, but while she was super sweet, I'm not a Zon fan, and I already have one crabby old lady lol.

They told me it was a lilac crown but it's red looks to far back. What is it?

Was super sweet with me. Almost took it home. But the regurgitating with me was off putting lol. I know that's a love thing, but it also didn't want to step up. They told me if I was interested they would get its info from the old owner though. It just kept following me and blowing kisses and lowering it's head for a scratch..... If I was more into the Zon personalities I'd take it :/

Lilac crowns dont have the full red head or green cheeks, hence the name green cheek amazon or mexican red headed.
You should go visit him again, maybe it will click! Sometimes the bird you least expect becomes your best, and Im sure with some love and dedication he will step up. Hes calling for ya!

Both me and another woman, and 2 men approached her at different times and she wasn't to pleased with anyone else lol. From what they were told 'she' went home with someone before she came there and they brought her in for biting after a few days. Well no duh! She's new! Makes me so mad. And the worst is I think they got a different bird as a trade.

I told my friend that is she's still there in mid January when I visit again I'd think about it. I've heard so many horror stories about zons turning on people and being so nasty I'm just not a fan. The one I have now was a rescue who's partially blind and older loves me and scratches and her play stand time, but she turns into a fire breathing dragon with anyone else lol. The only reason she's still here is that she's so attached to me, older, special, and had a rough past. I wouldn't give her up and do that to her. She's a forever bird in my home

I've gotten used to our daily chatter sessions lol

They had a Mexican Red Head and this one was WAY bigger. It's about the full size of a yellow nape. My Red Lored is like 3/4 the height and half the fluff ROFL

Another red head, lol! Green cheek, red Lored and also known as a Mexican Redhead. I have one, his name is Buddy and he's my sweety pie, everyone else he's not very nice too. Sounds like you got picked, regurgitation is a compliment. However it's still "ewww", lol. My Ekkie regurgitated in my ear and keeps trying to "share" with me.

If she's there when I go back in a few months I'll interact with her and see how she does again. They offered to ship her to me via plane, bit as I only spent an hour with her I feel like that would be an impulse thing. Of I had more love for Zon personality I would have taken her home with me haha.
