Gloria, BFA, adopted on Jan. 9, 2016 when she was 30 years old
. Her mom went to a nursing home.
Also have 2 cats (Rangerand Luna) and a 24 year old aquatic turtle, named Elvis.
Inquiring minds want to know. We got Gloria a stocking and a very nice handmade wooden toy. We're now up to 12 stockings--6 for humans and 6 for critters. I'd love to fix her some holiday treats of some kind.

What do you all do?

Amy a Blue Front 'Zon
Jonesy a Goffins 'Too who had to be rehomed :-(

And a Normal Grey Cockatiel named BB who came home with me on 5/20/2016.
The way to an Amazon's heart,is thru their belly! Amy indulges in some holiday fare,in moderation of course. But she does receive a gift from "Santa" to tear apart.

We got Panama a stocking, and he will have a few new toys in it to try and get out and destroy. I am assuming however though, the stocking itself will be destroyed before he even makes it to the inside to see the new toys! As for treats, that is a good question. I did not even think about making anything special in the way of treats. Panama is rather spoiled in terms of his diet, he gets a lot of human food, so he will more than likely get several bites of our Christmas Dinner.

Hmm, besides threaten to cook him for Christmas dinner:p I typically do ALL my toy, accessories and general shopping for him for the year in December when theres lots of sales. Couldn't swing a big spree financially this year, but he has a toy I bought and a few I made under the tree. He also gets to eat some Christmas dinner and if appropriate, tiny pieces of the baked goods I make around the holidays too (he just loves gingerbread cookies, so much so I make them with date sugar so he can have bigger pieces!).

Our way too old of a Boy loves to see Santa and jabber with him for far too long, as seen by the growing line, as other Kids get 'disappointed' that some one is hogging Santa.

Putting-up the Christmas Tree is a three day long 'event' as a special 'Mother's Child' wants to be an active part in the process 'with everything places on the tree with care.'

The weeks before Christmas are busy, since any preparation that involves that one special 'Mother's Child' gift or goodie, must occur when 'visions of Sugar Plum Ferries are dancing in his head' -while he is perched soundly sleeping.

'The presents are all stacked by the Christmas Tree with care' but never before the very early hours of Christmas Morn. By the way, the Stockings are likewise hung at the same time. All to assure that a special 'Mother's Child' does not open things early and disappoint all of Santa's helpers long and hard work!

As Santa finished the last of his efforts, I heard him acclaim: A Very Merry Christmas to All and too All A Good Night!!!

The Very Best too All my Close Friends and Lover's of our Feathered Friends during this very special time of year! May warm feathers bring you Blessed Memories of Years Pass and create New Ones This Year!
