just a little how Lilly came to joining the flock.
she was the last bird that I brought home she was around 10 months old.
while Maxx was being weaned and I was visiting him a couple of times a week her and a sister would be flying around in the nursery and she would always come over and land close by and watch and her sister would stay away just a little farther away.

flash to the 32'' octagon cage I had gotten for Maxx. which after putting toys in it along with him and watching him stretch out I decided it was not big enough so now I got a cage I paid 525 bucks for and no bird for it. well I head to the store to get a bigger cage for Maxx thinking I would sell the 32'' cage and take a couple of hundred loss more then likely, and that dang Lilly flew up and landed on my arm. oh well answered my question on what to do with the cage. I had to wait on Maxx's new cage but I had one at home that would work for a week so she came home then. and I don't even regret that I did no research at all on Amazons, yet they are so different then my other birds but I thought hell there is a krazy U2 at home, I can handle about anything in the bird world. lol

you know if someone ask me what a must have was to have an Amazon I would these forums and follow sailboats posts I have learned so much about the Amazon family here just from you other owners. Lilly has been a hard nut to crack but after doing a lot of reading here and changing some things up. in the last week it has been a total change in her. most of it was stuff I changed in my approach to her and I can see her turning into a super sweet gal.

thanks folks you are
all a great bunch of people

Well, clearly I need to spend far more time just here in the Amazon Forum.

As you know, I have a real soft spot for LCA's and I can not tell you how happy I am to hear that your girl is quickly warming up to you.

Look forward to more updates!
