It is not often that one's has the opportunity to present the Portrait of their Amazon created by one of the Parrot Forums own Artists. Today is that day for me and our Amazon: Julio!

Artist: Lady Abigail (GaleriaBila), who is also well known as RickeyBird's Mom.

Well, it appears that you have 'fallen in love' with more than one Amazon by this point and based on numerous sections and sub-sections of the Amazona Rule Book, you fully meet the 'classification' of an 'Amazon Snob.' Wear the title proudly!

Reality: The Photo barely presents the rich depth of color, nor the sparkle in the eye. And, Sun light takes it to another level.

I have been studying the Portrait and based on seeing something that I was not understanding, I would spend several additional moments in front of the Portrait ever time I past by. Today, the fog settle-out and with clarity, I saw it! He is Happy!

Thanks, Allee! I fall in love with every parrot I paint. I really do.
Since the Rb won't let me have any more parrots, it's my way of cheating on him.

Wow, that's awesome Abigail! I'm impressed! My mom is an artist and was an elementary art teacher for 30 years, I on the other hand cannot draw a stick figure! But I'm impressed, that's awesome!

Another home run, Gail. Awesome work. Salty's portrait is next t his cage, and we constantly see how faithful and lifelike the painting is. I'm sure all recipients of your works will treasure them forever, handing them down to grandchildren - "See, little one, this is what ******* looked like! " I know my grandson wants Salty's portrait.
