Jonesy a Goffins 'Too who had to be rehomed :-(
And a Normal Grey Cockatiel named BB who came home with me on 5/20/2016.
...after dealing with clearing 15 inches of snow,in 50+ mph gusts of wind for two hours,I came in and made a big,hot bowl,of cinnamon and brown sugar oatmeal...boy of boy it was yummy and hit the spot
Amy had never had oatmeal ( though I have read on the forum many times of parronts giving their fids some).
So I put two spoonfuls in her nummy bowl and told her to go try it. She looked at me,then in her bowl,back at me,as to say "whats THIS stuff your giving me??" and she hesitantly put her face in the bowl.
OMG! she chowed down! Oatmeal all over her beaky,I almost heard her smackin' her lips (beak? lol)
She absolutely enjoyed it. I only put in two small teaspoon full,but when she was done and I looked,there wasn't a morsel left.
Looks like I found an occasional treat for her..thanks for the idea folks!
