Buddy has a large vocabulary but we haven't heard it. My understanding is he use to talk a lot with his previous owner but since passed he doesn't say much or lazy talks. If I'm in the kitchen he "closet talks", mumbling words in his cute little parrot voice but if I speak up he starts his flock call very loud and starts whistling.
Well today I was in the kitchen prepping food, had music on, Buddy is whistling, calling, does a little closet talking and then clear as a bell says "Watcha doin'?" I repeat him and he starts whistling, and calling loudly. He was happy, he got what he wanted, response from me since I was too quiet for him lol!
