..I dunno..for the life of me,I can not figure this out..AGAIN Amy's obsessed with BB's house!! Even if he isn't IN IT.she has to be either on the roof or inside!
Already twice in less than ten minutes I caught her walking across the floor to Beeb's digs..I scold her, tell her NO and but her back on her playtop,go back to the kitchen to get their brekky, and by the time I get back, she is on his roof once again..I tell her NO again, put her back on her playtop, and by the time I'm out of the living room, shes climbing BACK DOWN her mansion to get back to his place..
This would go on all day if I allowed it. I don't know what it is about his place..it's not the food lol..or toys ( She has once or twice, gone INSIDE is place to destroy HIS toys or help herself to his nummys.

Now BB's house is the same one that housed Smokey and Jonesy, and she never ventured over to it when they occupied the house..I just don't understand

Thoughts? Anyone??

Poor BB's!

Just what you wanted to hear; take care that by making a big deal of it that you end up reinforcing the behavior. I had a die in the woods, Behaviorist tell be that! So, I aim not that likely to believe it. :D

Try switching locations! It is likely not going to help, but at least you can play with her mind a little bit.

What happens when BB's is on Amy's cage? Especially when Amy is on his?

The way to fix this is to find the driver. Lots of luck on that one, but be watchful, something might wave a flag.

Steven...location switching wouldn't be good. Their houses "fit" where they are located,Amy's being a mansion and all would make it inconvenient and in the way if put in BB's location.

As far as the Beebs going/being on Amy's roof or play top, he rarely goes there..has only done so when he got spooked and took off and landed there, and Amy got all excited and hurried up to join him.
She doesn't "attack" him or fight with him,but she WILL lunge at ME if I go and remove him..maybe shes doing the big sis/little bro protection thing.

When she is on his roof, she just sits there, maybe chew on one of HIS toys, and he just stays away from her. He doesn't seem to be intimidated by her presence. He is wise enough now though, that if he feels uncomfortable with her being there,he'll fly to the couch,or to ME :54:

As I have mentioned before,at times, when she see's me coming to get her, she'll scurry away and climb inside his abode, then bang his toys around and munch on his honey stick! At times the poor guy hides inside his plexi "tidy bowl" food bowl. ( his house is too small for a big mama 'zon and lil tiel to hang out together)

Like I said, she never did this with Smokes or the cockatoo man.

I gave her time out in her house, and just let her back out,and she immediately climbed down her mansion and went and climbed up his house, within 5 minutes of being let out.
This has gone too far now...I think I'm going to have to raise Beebs house off the floor now

Senegal Parrot named "Kane"; Yellow-Sided Green Cheek Conure named "Bowie"; Blue Quaker Parrot named "Lita Ford"; Cockatiel named "Duff"; 8 American/English Budgie Hybrids; Ringneck Dove named "Dylan"
I'm having a similar problem (though not for as long as you've been having your issue) with my female cockatiel insisting on flying across the room to be on my Senegal's cage top. I can't figure it out either, I'll walk over to her while she's on his cage, tell her no (and she knows she's in trouble and shouldn't be there) and walk her back to her cage, then she immediately flies back to his cage. Yesterday she actually jumped from his cage to the floor and literally ran away from me as I was telling her no, she actually ran the entire way across my dining room and living room floor back to her cage. It was absolutely hysterical, imagine a cockatiel running full tilt and looking back over her shoulder to see if I was following. One of my steps equals 50 of hers, so that didn't go very well for her. I guess she thought I wouldn't see her up there if she jumped down to the floor and ran back to her own cage...

I don't know what to do either, the time outs don't work, she just goes right back to his cage. And Kane, my Senegal, is not amused. He's injured right now, he ripped the entire top of his toe off and pulled the entire nail out down to the bone. His avian vet said he'll be okay but he's mad now because he got gas, an x-ray, and a shot, then oral antibiotics, so when we got home he was pissed off at the world. I took his harness off, walked him over to his cage, and there was Duff, the cockatiel, keeping it warm for him. I told Duff she had a death wish and that I'm not protecting her right now, Kane is much too angry right now, and his beak is much too large for my liking. She's eating on her own cage top now, but it won't be long before she's back over there at his again...

Trade cages? Sizes might not be perfect, but maybe Amy just likes his digs better then hers!

Nooooo that wouldn't work at all! lol.. Beebs house is an apartment, and Amys' place is a Mansion! BB would get lost in it and his would cramp Amy's style lol
