Not sure if every big city has these, but in Portland there are places where food trucks congregate and it's a big outdoor, pick your food from any one of 15-20 or so food carts kind of thing. Anyways, we have one right down the street and last night we took Kiwi with us to the food carts for the first time (I've seen plenty of people with dogs, so I don't think anyone cares about animals being there and he was in his pak-o-bird). OMG he went nuts. The smell and sight of junk food *everywhere*, it was like amazon Disneyland. Lots of hilarious and slightly embarrassing squeals and honks. He got to share my "healthier" (not sure any food from a food cart qualifies as healthy
) vegan wrap with me, but he did not get any of the slightly less healthy for a parrot looking Chinese food my husband got. I did feel the beady orange eye of "how could you do this to me" upon me when he was offered beans, rice and whole wheat tortilla from mine rather than the greasy food hubby had He did get a pretty big piece of a chip from my meal, so that made him super happy
