Caution: Overly emotional video! Meet Oscar, a 16 yr-old lilac crowned Amazon. Our daughter, Emma and Oscar immediately formed a bond that was so strong. For months we would take Emma down to visit him. The only thing on her Christmas list? Yep- Oscar! [emoji172] So my in laws ended up adopting him this week and we took her down to surprise her. As you can see, she saw the sign that showed he was adopted and her heart broke [emoji174][emoji24] She was devastated, the tears quickly turned to happy tears when she heard the good news - he’s hers ❤️❤️❤️ Oscar will be so loved!

And a Normal Grey Cockatiel named BB who came home with me on 5/20/2016.
How sweet! Now Emma will have a very best friend,for hopefully a very long time :D Merry Christmas, Emma and Oscar!!!

B&G Macaw, Galah, 5 cockatiels, 50 billion and a half budgies. We breed and do rescue. Too many to list each individual's name and age etc, but they are each individuals and loved dearly.
Awe, the bird is as big as she is! <3 That's how to do it; get kids hooked on parrots young. :) Congrats and thanks for sharing this precious moment
