..lol,,ya I know those words don't mix well lol.
We had a nasty storm come thru yesterday/last night dumping about a foot of white stuff, hopefully it'll be the last storm of the season.

So I had the front door open with Amy on my shoulder as we watched the 50 mph gusts come and whip the snow about like it was just a white "fog".
Amy sat there, mesmerized, head all poofy, flashing eyeballs, and mumbling amazon stuff.

I had to tell him..sorry Amy..no "outside?...in the car?".. today.

What do you mean no outside today?! But Amy wanted to have a snowball fight and build a snowbird:D

Have you ever given Amy snow in a dish? My mom does the with her birds sometimes- gives them some fresh, clean snow in a little dish. They always go nuts because it's cold and foreign to them being tropical birds and all. I've tried it with Kiwi, but he was uninterested.

Never thought about that April! I'll try that! Years ago,my mom would share her ice cream with Amy..Mom would let the ice cream melt (vanilla of course) and Amy would lap it up just like a dog would. Was funny, watching his little tongue go around the bottom of the bowl, and he'd lick it dry lol.

M'Lord..BB's Uncle Joe has two Shi-Zu's and when Daisy gets in the snow, she runs full-bore,with her snout deep in the snow, like a plow...she obviously loves it lol.

As long as it isn't yellow snow. LOL

Oh, this made me literally bust out laughing!

Jim, do you still usually take her out during the winter as well? I mean, I'm sure you don't take her for long strolls or anything, but out to the car and out to stores from the car and such.

While Jolly shows mild interest in snow, Maya looks at it as though it offends her! Lol!

Yep...at times...if it's at least in the 40's,I'll warm up the car and we'll take a ride to the local pet shop or donut shop..I don't keep him out in the elements very long. it doesn't seem to bother him in the least..he is just happy to be going on an adventure ;)

My Sammy would be terrified of it. I tried to put him down on the grass once, and he freaked. He kept trying to lift his feet so they wouldn't touch it! Ran up my arm so fast.

During the first outing of springtime Amy will do that also..lift one foot and look at the grass, then put that foot down and lift the other, often saying "huh? huh?" with a puzzled look on his face, but after the third or fourth time out on the grass,he walks around picking at grubs and twigs..kind of comical to watch :D
