I see... my pair do the same but only right underneath the eggs, all the nest surrounding them has nice soft bedding...oh well!
Please keep us updated as they hatch and grow!!

How cool is this??!!! Can't wait for the first pictures to come! Make sure to take lots and lots and LOTS of pictures!! We love 'em!! ( but not to the point where you aggro mommy and daddy!

I have to say in all honesty that newborn birds are not what I consider cute... but they are still SO very precious. They are these delicate little things that don't look like much, but they get cuter and cuter every week until suddenly they are these incredible, magical creatures of the air... I feel so special every time Yoda flies from his playgym to land on my shoulder.
Ok... I digress...

I agree! how incredibly dinosaur like when first born,then in just a few short weeks,they start to grow/develop into these incredibly colorful,fluffy,featherly flying dinosaurs!
The MAN upstairs sure knew what He was doing when he came up with the idea of these living wonders.

I guess "cute" is subjective. I'm sure it's parents find it pretty cute, but personally, they start getting 'cute' to me when they reach the prickly cactus phase
