Geeze, I think my husband must be starting to get a little jealous:mad:. He already knows I kiss on another 'guy' :green:, but this morning we were holding feet on the couch too:54: Oh and he told me he still loves me even if my feet aren't terrible scaly Dino feet with big sexy velociraptor talons like his:D But seriously, any one else have a bird who holds feet with them? He held my foot hostage for several minutes before climbing over onto my leg where he normally sits:rolleyes: What a (totally adorable) weirdo!

That is adorable! I don't let Drogon near my feet lol, every time he manages to catch an unexpected foot he chomps down on it like he wants it dead. :p

He does, however, hold hands with me a lot!

Julio tends to be an A to B type of guy. Not at all into watching the grass grow or, sharing sweet nothings. If his target is to take-up watch on your knee, the shortest path is the direction he travels, no time to sit and hold hands, or feet. :D

I think Kiwi knows better to go after feet... but today was the first time he's ever reached out and held my foot. Not sure what he was trying to do or communicate by it. He has been kind of petting himself more with his own foot and reaching out to us with his foot to touch and feel us with it, so we think maybe in the next few years, he'll become more receptive to us petting him. My husband hypothesizes he has learned it feels nice to be petted but is still too...whatever hangup he has about it... to allow us (yet). More contact can only=good things IMO:D

Millie holds hands with me quite often. Probably once a day. Hubby only gets to hold hands once in a blue moon.

Millie has also been known to hold your ear, your nose etc. very touchy feels with her Dino feet’s.

That's so cute that Millie uses her feet to touch you guys:D

Kiwi has also recently began (gently) touching our faces with his terrible little feet. Kinda disconcerting, but we suspect he is petting us to see how we react and may be deciding whether or not to let us pet him:)

Salty will still reach out a claw to hold my hand for support in any kind of new situation, or if he gets frightened, just like he did when he was a baby. Its very cute, but if you didn't know why, it might look odd.

He will chomp on toes a bit until he is made to know bite pressure extends to them, too.

LOVE that pic! And once again I'm struck by Kiwi's beautiful plumage!

My Eclectic Duo is totally uninterested in my feet except as things to be climbed over on their pilgrimage to my face! Lol!

All these feet attacking birds! It's so surprising, as neither of my moms amazons went after feet either. The female likes to preen your toes, but she's very gentle. Kiwi sometimes climbs on my foot, which is horrible since it tickles so much, but he's never bit a toe or anything. The only bird I've known to go after feet is my dads cockatoo, but it's not so much a vendetta against feet per se, more of a crime of opportunity if feet happen to be the easiest/closest body parts to attack:eek:

clark holds my fingers all the time. He only uses my feet as a sidewalk to get to me. Sometimes I hold his feet, like a bird seatbelt but he's not as into it.....

Holding Kiwi's foot, thumb over top of foot/toes is pretty much automatic upon stepping up. That's how I was taught to handle parrots as a kid. Probably because that's how we trained him to step up from day one, he's never seemed to take issue with it:) When doing his flapping exercises, I get the back toes of his other foot between my ring and middle finger too or else he gets a bit of lift and flops over:rolleyes: He's used to that too, though at first he tried to pull them away until he realized it made his flapping exercises much easier:p
