...after Amy's crummy check up a couple weeks ago,I immediately removed all seed from his diet  and gave him roudytush pellets. I'd check his bowl now and again and when I emptied it I THINK I saw pellet dust.

Tonight I heard him talking into his bowl ( hello..laughing) and I figured he was at his nummy bowl. Imagine my surprise,AND delight :D to see his head buried in his pellet bowl :)

One hurdle crossed Now if I can only get him to except his meds without fighting me. Yesterday I made scrambled eggs (a fav of his) and managed to squirt a dose of meds in/on it and he did munch on most of it,but I'm sure he'll get wise to that and stop eating eggs now :(

Jim, how about something porous like bread or a thick piece of pretzel. Not the healthiest but might get more meds into him.

2 cents, for your consideration...
I medicate the Rb with deli-fresh almond butter, only ingredients are nuts and water. Is that still too high-calorie? It's SO easy to mix the 2 ccs into a pea-size dab of the butter, and when you stir it for a minute or two, it congeals into sort of a moist crumble, which the bird gobbles.

Good idea Bill...Amys Uncle DJ suggested maybe one of those squishy strawberry shortcake bowls? Just a piece, moistend with strawberry juice then squirt the meds into the short cake? Crikey..I'd prolly eat it too :p
