Amazons are gracious enough to try and inform us when we are making offensensive mistakes.

Sometimes they are as subtle/unsubtle as a a shaking"nodding left to right" of the head.

Damn birds

If I could change anything,,, I'd like to have the the other half of my house to have no beak marks.

So true. Amazons will always tell you what you are doing wrong in their own language. The trick is learning the language without holes in the fingers! I love my 35 year old BFA, whom I have had his whole life. What kind of bird do you have? :green:

DYH Amazon
They at least take the time to warn their humble Staff prior to making holes. Our dear DYH Amazon elects to hide things of interest to us. Its always an eye opener when we find one of his 'storage' places.

Love Amazon Body Language, life is so much more richer when you're tuned in. Continues to surprise me just how much they catch and I miss.

LaLa is a blue front also.

I believe it was TOM who mentioned something to the effect, "I wouldn't take a million dollars for my CAG, nor would I take million for another one" sometimes I wonder if I would be as good of a parront.

One thing for sure, they'll suck you in with their "occasional" cuteness.

Please keep the member who lost their BFA companion suddenly recently in your thought.

1 BFA- Kiwi. Hatch circa 98', forever home with us Dec. 08'
My amazon has proven very good at communication- one must simply be diligent in observing him. Sometimes you don't even have to pay careful attention, just not be a total idiot and you'll understand what he's trying to 'say'.

Incidentally, he has also proved a highly effective and reliable oven timer. He knows when food is done and alerts us before it burns, even if the real timer has yet to go off. Not even joking. We know to check items baking or simmering when Kiwi goes off:p 90% of the time, they finished cooking early.
