My Rio has started landing on my head, when his cage is open, and I am walking away. I would much rather he land on my shoulder as the hair on my head has thinned out over the years, and my scalp against his nails is very sensitive.
Until a few weeks ago he would land on my shoulder or on my finger when I saw/heard him coming and lifted my hand. Anyone have a suggestion to deter him from landing where he wants rather than what I want? Currently I just raise my arm and gently move it over the top of my head, to knock him off, but he returns in a few minutes.
Hoping someone else has had this problem and knows how to fix it.. :)

Lol, I have been ducking to make him miss his mark. I guess I could wear a hat but he would still land on it, rather than my shoulder.
