I have been working extensively with Bo, my DYH, on recall training in what was supposed to be preparation for free flight training. He had been clipped, but I let his flights grow in, and worked on building his muscle tone back up. Even without all his flights grown back in, he's a very strong and agile flyer.
However, after a couple months of this, I had to ground him again. He learned that flying = being able to eliminate people and other birds he doesn't like. He flew from me and landed on my wife's back and tried attacking her face. Then he pretty much body slammed Gus, our CAG, off his play stand.
Enough is enough. Sorry Bo, I'd love to have let you fly but I couldn't when you were using your freedom to attack others.
