I had Luna & Merlin in Bingo's cage today for 3 hours.
They did fairly well but did a little fighting (biting each others beak) over sitting in one location.

They did not drink any water and were thirsty when they went back to there own cages. I don't know why, the water is right there next to one of the food dishes and they were eating out of the food dish.

Here is a video I took of them grooming each other. The bird on the right is Luna (I think). I took the video with my iPad and quality is not that great but you can see they are starting to get along with each other.:03:

RIP Gandalf and Big Bird, you are missed.
Overall, seems to have been a peaceful encounter! Hard to understand why they didn't drink water.

Sunny a female B&G macaw;
Japie (m) & Appie (f), both are congo african grey;
All are rescues- had to leave their previous homes for 'reasons', are still in contact with them :)
Same thing happens here...there is only one cage with "good water" and they all take turns to drink there if they can (if the doors are closed they drink in their own cages)

They look absolute adorable together. :)
