Every so often, Joe will sneak up behind Kiwi, pick him up around the body and remind him he’s a soft, cuddly little creature and not the big, terrifying tyrannosaurus he thinks he is When I think of Kiwi when we brought him home compared to now, it’s like it’s not even the same bird. How far we’ve come! Not a amputation or drop of blood in sight. Just a birdie eye roll

Even though Amy will lay on his back in the palm of my hand,the only time I was able to pick him up and hold him like hubby is doing with Sir Kiwi,was when he was all buzzed out after his doc did the face growth thing. He prolly would have let me hold and hang him from his toe nails and wouldn't give a hoot,he was so in la-la land lol
