Hi guys.

If you followed Mambos diary you know that he was quite aggressive at the beginning and became calm and lovely.

Well this week he started suddenly biting my finger and I don’t know why. We are training and I recall him, he comes to my finger and while he is on it he bites it. He had never done that. I am a bit confused because I don’t do ANYTHING different that usual so I don’t get why he does that..
Any suggestions?

Oh yeah and my finger is of course all marked because of this week :/

Thank you in advance guys

Likely a bit of Hormonal reaction or you may not be paying close enough attention to him. It is not uncommon for our Northern Amazons to have a bit of background effects of the change of seasons plus the Hormonal thing.

Check-out the Highlighted Thread in the Amazon Forum regarding Reading Amazon Body Language. It is always worth reading as we can tend to not be as attentive to their Body Language as we had been.

Distraction: When you 'recall' your Amazon, have a treat ready for him upon his arrival.

Always remember that "They have No natural reason to trust us and that we need to always remember to provide them a reason to trust us." And, the includes starting over from the basics...

If this is only happen when you are training, it's possible that he is bored with it or that the current training is not to his liking.

Hope that this helps!
Enjoy!
