Yesterday we had a freakishly warm day. The high reached 71, when usually temps are in the high 30's. I took Sisqo out on his new harness, and OMG he loved it! He didn't like me putting it over his head, but when I got outside he was like a totally different bird.

He was making all kinds of crazy sounds and just talking A LOT! I even put him up in our tree and he just thought it was the greatest thing ever. We took my niece for a walk to the park and there were a bunch of little kids there that wanted to pet him. Of course I didn't let them, b/c you never know what could happen, but even around them he was talking up a storm. Usually he's quiet around strangers until he knows they're okay.

He was a very happy birdie yesterday :D

I might get to take him out again sometime next month, seeing as how it's going back down to the 30's this weekend :5_sad:

Way to go sisqo, that is great news. Its wonderful to see our birds enjoying the freedom that the harness can give them and it sure sounds like he was having a ball. :D

We've been taking Kito out with his harness on, he's not too sure about the big outdoors at the moment but I'm sure once he's got used to it he'll have a ball, Bucc won't go out yet, not warm enough for him yet  he's such a big baby. :D

I hope we get a day like that here soon. I've been so excited since getting the harness to bring Popsicle outside. Hopefully once she gets out there she will be to distracted to be chewing on her harness.

Ahhh..silly me....

I seemed to have forgotten that our little excursion outside and into the sun would probably cause Sisqo to be a tad bit hormonal.

He did a fantastic job of reminding me of this yesterday though when he gave me a pretty intense bite.

Good guy for keeping his mom in check
