B&G Macaw, Galah, 5 cockatiels, 50 billion and a half budgies. We breed and do rescue. Too many to list each individual's name and age etc, but they are each individuals and loved dearly.
How lovely! Color me inspired to make something similar. :24_shocke:bigeyes::worship2:

Dream Catchers are a wonderful uses for Bird feathers of all types.

Near our cottage, the County Fair grounds hosts a Native America, Michigan Gathering and we take whatever like feathers our Amazon has offered and offer them to Artist for dream catchers.

We also take the one (dream catcher) that was created for us many years ago for a cleansing ceremony. The offering of feathers act as a trade for the ceremony.

Hmmm, I wonder what the RB's opinion was of the 'different' body parts that appeared in HIS home?

Awwwwww, thanks, Jim, and everybody! I made it as a rear-view car-mirror thingie, to keep Jim safe as he tools around New England. Wow, Mr. Boat, I used to donate feathers to pueblos when we lived in New Mexico. As for the Rb, I didn't let him get anywhere near the feathers! Tami, I cut the center out of a plastic lid up to make the ring, and then I raided my craft-y sister-in-law's supply closet for silver ribbon, silver thread, a few beads, and some other odds and ends. Thanks to Youtube for a quick weaving/macrame lesson! Really, though, it's all about the feathers. I love Amazons', especially. I totally coveted Amy's, and I kept a bunch as my "fee"!

Oh wow, I thought you were going to tell me Michael's, Hobby Lobby or some other craft store. :D
That is so cool that you made it from scratch, very impressive.

How cute! My vet has a big display in his office of all the feathers. The only rule is that they must fall out in the office. Sam has one feather there now!
