The alarm with no snooze button

This a morning I woke up to Isabell wanting to come out and her morning apple slices! She did what I call her sea gull siren 🚨! I’ve been saying inside voices and she’ll lower her call... not this morning! She did change tactics and make a sweet little tweeting sound so I got up to get each of our morning treats! Me coffee and her apple slices. Then I remember I ran out of apples yesterday and I had to search for something she did want! This morning we did walnuts and a peanut butter ( organic and no additives other than peanuts) and sourdough cracker (No salt). I tried a couple of things like other bananas, other nuts and nutri berries to no avail. She’d do a nibble and drop to all the choices I gave her.

She is one of the best alarms I’ve ever had...

I guess I am lucky in a way. I wake up before it's light so when they start waking up I feed them right away.

My problem comes from trying to keep them quiet after feeding so everyone else can sleep.

I have developed a routine that works most of the time.
OR they have ME trained well .

I lol'd at the title! :D:D:D

I too rise early, and my flock is generally quiet until 0900 or later. Rarely sleep past ~0700.

This made me literally laugh out loud ! Hopefully it’s not a very morning thing! Last night she wanted to roosted outside the cage and I let her so no wake up call this morning! Tonight she tucked herself in her cage. Now if only I had her in highschool 🙈 I would have never been late!
