Hello I am new here. Just had to share my joy. Today I am getting my 10 month old blue front amazon. Hubby is on his way to pick him up for me right now.

UPDATE

He came in and sat on the top of his cage and he has been talking up a storm! He really is AMAZING!
His name is Deacon!

I hate to be the one who keeps raining on everybodies parade.But if that's a Blue Front (BF) it's a chocao or it's a hybrid. Looks almost like DYH but the color quality of the picture could be better. Really need to see more pics:ie Spread wings and tail etc. Of course there's alot of sub-species of BFs, I'm just not so sure as every one else.

You are no rain on my parade at all! I appreciate your insight. No matter his exact breed I love him any way. I will try to get more photos of him.

I'm sure you don't care what bird it is no more than I would. It's a real beauty, and I'm envyous hahahahahaha! If it's not a Chaco Blue Front, it's doing a marvalous job impersonating one. It's on my must have before I die list.

Here's a picture of a group of Chaco Blue Front Amazons that a local breeder near me has.
