pretty sure it is the Channel Islands, which are basically in the UK ( bailiwick: Jersey)..Jersey is a "crown dependency" so TECHNICALLY, it isn't UK (from what I understand, anyway)...I am guessing based on clues in the article.

The death of a long lived Parrot is always disheartening, as you are so correct stated Scott, so many lives have been touched by this dear Parrot.
