Not sure if this is the right place to post this but I was wondering what is the best way to introduce your new bird to your existing bird. I have a queen of bavaria that is 1 year old and my new bird is a 4 year old rehomed alexandrine. Right now the new bird is in quarantine but I would like to eventally have them share the same stand together when I take them out..

Also if they can tolerant each other would it be safe for them to eat out of the same bowel or should it be on different sides?

I'd start off with having them in the same room together in separate cages. If they're cool, move them closer together. If they're still cool, have one person hold one, and the other person hold the other one, and let them be near each other. If they're still cool, you can put them together and observe them. If at any point one or both of them is uncomfortable, back them off a bit and let them get used to each other.
