Urgent help please???

Hi people! I need your urgent help please! My 7 week old irn suddenly discovered that his head fits through the bars of his cage - he now insists to keep on trying to fit his whole body through the bars. So, he got stuck this morning, if it was not for my partner being at home he would have been stuck with his head between the bars the entire day. He insists on being ouside his cage.

How do I stop this?? He puts on such an performance to get out! He just wants to walk around outside his cage. It is big enough for him, so it is not that space is an issue!

Maybe a behavious issue????

This is not really a behaviou issue. As I see it the barspace is to big so I think you need a new cage.

Yeah, I also thought so! but he puts up such a scene! Naughty! I will look into buying a new cage. Thanks Oled!!

You need a new cage ASAP. It would be tragic if his head got caught and there was no one there to help him. :-(

(Don't feel too bad. I didn't know about bar spacing until after I got Puck. I'm lucky his head doesn't fit through his bars!)

We are urgently trying to make a plan. Unfortunately we stay in a very small town and their variaty is very small. So we thought we might cover his cage with some mesh wire until we can get to the city. It is all we can really do at this stage. Please hold thumbs!!!
