Raised cheek feathers ?

I believe that in cockatoos, raised cheek feathers are a sign of contentment. If she's doing it while showing overall relaxed body posture, I'd say that's it.

I would agree. Although if her body postures show otherwise it can also be as sing of excitement or anger. My Grey does it when she is happy to see me, and wants to come out and cuddle. My conure does it when she is very angry. My amazon does it when he is relaxed.

Yes you all have that right. I just love it when my SC2 does that. It's normally just before he goes off for a sleep. Or when he is scratching his head & neck.

Kazi does it when he wants me to scratch his cheeks and chin/throat. And if he's content he's a little fluffy all over.
