Pixel used to be a total ham around new people, and I made a point of introducing her to new people often so she wouldn't develop a phobia; senegals are known to become phobic.
Well the past two weeks I've been working on an electrical course for work. I found I was putting it off too much so I went into shut-in mode. No visiting friends, having people over, etc. So for a time Pixel didn't get to meet any new people or interact with anyone but myself and my roommates.
Well yesterday I had a close friend of mine visit. Pixel has met her before and she was, in fact, her favorite person out of my friends. Not anymore; when Pixel saw her she FREAKED out. Full on panic mode.
I know two weeks is a bit of a lapse but this I did not expect... sigh. Phobia in a bird is not something I've had to tackle before but I guess its due time to learn.
