Thought I might do an update on Jack, he has adjusted well! He has lost his fear of hands and will step up very reliably on my hand and my family. He still won't eat any fruits or vegetables unless I hold them in his face, but he really likes peas if I crush them in his food dish. I do have one question, when do male parrotlets reach maturity? I read elsewhere 10 to 12 months, but is it possible he could mature earlier? He is very vocal ( do your research, I read that parrotlets are quiet and perfect for apartments, but he is as loud as many conures I've heard) thanks for the help!
My p'let, PeeWee, started maturing at around 11 months, but I am not sure how much it varies. I would love to see a picture of Jack!
