Hello everyone!
As much as I adore my gorgeous little Rosie, she can sometimes be such a little handful! I am still new to birds (nearly 5 months as a parront now!), and I am constantly learning. Particularly about communication, and understanding (or trying to...) what Rosie wants.
Yesterday she made me laugh so much. She was really grumpy when I got home from work, and kept biting me for no apparent reason. She's quite touchy at the moment because she's going through her first molt (I think). I didn't know what she wanted, so I tried some nice fresh food, playing, training, and still in a grump. She then followed me into the bathroom and I realised that it was a bath she wanted (silly mummy)!!!! I cupped my hands under the running water in the sink and she had a nice splashy bathe and then was a COMPLETELY different bird!!! Completely placid and calm and cuddly for the rest of the evening! Just shows how amazing and complex our birdies are, and how much learning I have to go! ha.
