How do you harness train a bird?
I think I am heading in the right direction. Scarlett will reach through the head loop to get a seed, and I can touch her with it with no problem as long as she gets rewarded. What is the next step? Actually putting it on her results in her concentrating so hard on biting it that she falls off whatever she's standing on!
When she can wear a harness, would it be inappropriate to take her on a bike? I don't drive and it's the main way I get around. I would love to be able to take her with me when I go into town. I was thinking of installing a perch in my basket and putting a piece of PVC across the front to protect her from the wind.
