I need some inspiration and encouragement on a bird I just rescued. Anyone successfully stop a parrot from plucking? How long did it take? What steps did you use? And any before and after pictures? Thanks!!!

Sometimes the change to a new environment can do the trick. Figure out the schedule of consistent time out with you [you can keep up with ]. Have everyone in the house super positive with him .Hopefully you will be able to find a toy they like[learning to keep busy is so important].If they have a cage full of toys and their not interested [keep trying]. I had a plucking Ekkie and Caique with a collar on.Both do not pluck now ,but have damaged feather follicles . So they are scruffy looking [but seem happy]. I think birds pluck if they feel not accepted or bored [so that's a good place to start]
