Senegal aggression towards other birds

I have a Senegal that is a little over two years. She has always been aggressively jealous and would attack any bird that gets near her. And she would pursue my dog to attack her if in the same room. But she has never actively pursued my other birds to attack them until recently.

I just moved the first of July and now when it is her turn to come out of her cage she will fly to the other bird's cages (particularly the cockatiels) and go after them, attacking them through the bars, which of course is terrifying for them. I have tried putting her back in her cage when she does it but when she gets an idea in her head there is no deterring her from it.

So, I have been having to take her out of the bird room for her time out. Seems like a simple solution, but it isn't. For some reason she is so scared to be anywhere but the bird room. And she just sits on me very still and alert. She just isn't her playful, sweet, cuddly, troublemaking self. I just don't know what to do. I feel like she isn't getting any quality time with me because she is so nervous. I thought she would get used to being in the living room but she isn't. It is very hard for me to see her like this.

Also, the bird room is fairly small, so even clipping her wings (which I would hate to do) would not prevent her from reaching the other cages.

Any suggestions are welcome, I just want my baby to be happy and my other birds to be safe!

Sounds like she hasn't had enough socialization. These pois need an extra dose. I think they are naturally more nervous than other birds.

If it were me if continue taking her into the other room and bring along her favorite treat and toy that she only gets when she's in that room. I would bet with time she'll adjust. It just may take longer with her.

Yes, she hasn't had a lot of socialization. She has always been scared of new places and people. Treats are a god idea, she is very food motivated. Thanks!

My sennies are the same way. I hope it works for you. Good luck!

PS...make sure she only gets the favorite treats in the room you want her in, so hopefully she'll associate it with good things.
