My 7 month old Rock Pebbler twitches his whole body but only it seems in the evenings when my wife gets home from work. Sometimes it seems that he does it when he sees his shadow. I'm with the bird all day and nothing but as soon as my wife gets home, everything starts to twitch. It doesn't happen continuously but it does happen. He eats veggies and whole grain for breakfast followed by sunflower seeds and/or millet spray for click training in the afternoons and Harrison pellets in the evenings. He sometimes gets organic popcorn as a snack. He saw an avian vet 3 weeks ago for a regular checkup and the bloodwork was good along with his fecal...Just wondering if the twitching could be caused by the birds diet, excitement to seeing my wife(my birds favorite person in the house) some type of seizure etc etc etc.....Please help....thank you

I think I would take him back to the vet to address the twitching issue. It's not his diet... without seeing a video, I'm thinking something neurological? I wonder if he's done it in the daytime without you noticing, and seeing your wife is coincidental? Hard to say without seeing it, but hopefully it's only behavioral, and not something wrong. Do you think you can catch a video of him doing it?

How is his posture? When Mango is begging (could be for something Im eating or just attention) he sort of squats, pulls his wings down and bounces. Sometimes he follows up with a spin. I thought he was having a seizure when I saw it the first time, but my friend who has had birds her whole life watched him and put me at ease. Hes just begging. I agree this should be addressed by the vet, but with normal blood and fecal I suspect its excitement about seeing your wife. Try to get a video for your vet, it will help to identify if it is behavioral and hopefully save on some expensive and stressful testing.
