Hey guys! Just wanted to update you on my situation with my evil Jenday Lily and my pesky Green Cheek Leo's relationship.
I've been getting them out and getting them used to being in each other's presence and it seems to be going better.
They can now get within 2 feet of each other without attacking which is good and their fights are easier to break up than before. Just lift Leo up and put him away.
It's also been helping that I started showing Lily preferential treatment so that she knows she is still the boss. Leo seems to understand that now too and doesn't fight for top spot anymore.
I think at his point it's just about patching up the damage that I caused with my ignorance in allowing them to interact without doing proper research. I think they can still be friends...
What do you think?
Also here is some pictures because cute!!! 😍
Also! I've been making them do team building exercises such as spanning a toy (bubble wrap) between their cages and making them play together and outing their bowls across from each other so they have to eat together as a flock
