Hello,
Since 2/3 weeks ago I took in an eastern rosella. The rosella was found in the garden of people we know. They took the bird in, they tried looking for the owner of the bird (posts on facebook, contacted police, a local bird shelter) but with no help. Alot of people wanted the rosella because he is quite colorfull (regarding the information I read, it should be a male).
They gave the bird to us because they know he will have a good life with us.
(I have 2 cockatiels that I have for 8 years now, but they don't seem to be getting along yet)
So now my question.
When he is in the cage, he does this alot(I recorded some footage)

To me it looks like he is scared and is waiting for something bad to happen?
I don't like seeing him do this because ofcourse I want him to be happy and comfortable. He is not tame (only afraid from hands; flies away from it) but if you have some fruits or vegetables in your hand,
he sure will come for it
He has no problem flying on your shoulder. Sometimes I put the cage in my room so I can open his cage and he can be free for an afternoon. He flies alot onto my computer screens and when im leaving him alone, mostly he is waiting on the computer screen when im back. I just recorded the footage and as I am writing this he is resting on my screen with one legg so he should be pretty comfortable with me right?
All help is welcome!
Thanks
