Amy a Blue Front 'Zon
Jonesy a Goffins 'Too who had to be rehomed :-(

And a Normal Grey Cockatiel named BB who came home with me on 5/20/2016.
...brother David is baffled...actually so am I. I've posted about this a few times.Amys' obsession with BB. Last night it was hysterical. Amy is on his playtop and I get Beebs out of his house. BB on my finger and I bring him up to Amy. Beebs starts with a couple "hello's" and wolf whistles.Amy goes into his head bobbing, turning his head upside down, grabbing at toys and just being silly. BB hops onto the playtop and whistles and sings to Amy.This goes on for ten minutes or so as I watch carefully inches away. Amy shows zero aggression towards the little boy. Then BB has had enough and flies to me.

We know Amy and BB are males. Amy has always been a social birdie, always wanting to make friends. First it was Smokey, but Smokes wanted no part of it,and would torment Amy any chance she got. When Smokey passed away,in came Jonesy. Amy and Jonesy would often play together, without Amy showing any "mating" behavior.
The last play date with Al and Salty there was head bobbing on Amy's part, but Salty is also a male

Is Amy "protecting" BB? Beeb's is the smallest friend Amy has known.Amy just acts so happy when he is around the fluffboy.

Many possible ways to define the interactions.
But, the simplest definition is the ongoing, year after year, kind hearted, friendliness of Amy.
That's my look at this and I'm sticking with it. :D

I have never had a small bird/big bird combination.
That is to say none of my Tiels has had any interest in the larger.
Bingo would kill my Tiels if he had the chance.
Bella is just … ok with them but my concern is if one or more of them tried to sit on top of the cupboard door. I expect Bella would protect that area so U have not been letting the Tiels out of there cage at the same time.
I don't know how the twins feel towards the Tiels or the other way around.

Easiest question to answer I know of..."because they said so."

What makes you and your SO/best friend o close? Wht mde Jimi Hendrix who he was, Knopfler who he is? Some questions are better left unanswered, life is better with unanswered miracles and surprises around every corner.
