So my African Grey, Zelda, decided recently that she likes to chew on the bars when she is in her cage for whatever reason. She is out of the cage for most of the day and has lots of toys and engagement from me, maybe she just likes the sound. But she is starting to take some of the powder coating off.

So in an attempt to try to get her interested in something else. I strung some old toys together to make a 2 ft long super toy that she will hopefully like more than the bars!

Hopefully this works! Any other tips?

Umbrella Cockatoo- 15? years old..I think?
This is honestly what I would have suggested, aside from more activity/interaction (of which it sounds like she has plenty) and at least 10 hours of sleep on a routine etc to reduce any anxiety he may be feeling.

I struggle with this issue myself. Well, my BIRRRD does.
I like that. Gonna give it a try!
