BFA Weathervane Memorial

and Bergie my little BFA in Rainbow Bridge
I wanted a memorial for my little BFA, Bergie. Look what I found! I was so pleased. I was thinking about how it will move with the wind and sort of emulate flight. An artist in Santa Cruz, CA is making it. It will have an inscription on the base: Fly Free Li'l Bergie.:green:

Presently have six Greenwing Macaw (17 yo), Red Fronted Macaw (12 yo), Red Lored Amazon (17 y.o.), Lilac Crowned Amazon (about 43 y.o.) and a Congo African Grey (11 y.o.)

Wow! I love that!

Santa Cruz used to be my home away from home... that's one of those places I miss.

Thank you and I've spent a fair amount of time in Santa Cruz myself. Did you ever eat at Shadowbrook -- the restaurant with the gondola? I miss that. (actually in Capitola) I'm in Texas now, too.

No. I was a surfer boy. Pleasure point. Steamer Lane. Davenport's Landing. When it was flat, we used to go up highway 9 to the Redwoods...

The place I miss the most from the bay area was actually The Pelican Inn in Muir Beach... Drinks and darts. Atmosphere. I loved that place...
