ANYONE, and I MEAN ANYONE, who cross breeds a HY with ANYTHING needs to have their head examined ...

There is nothing better than having a well trained BIG BLUE on your arm ... they are AMAZING CREATURES that only want to be with their owner ... they are just big colbalt blue mush balls (and I know first hand) ...

The fact that they are so endangered should drive individuals to want to keep the genetics pure and not cross them with anything. Please, people, focus on the conservation of these magnificent creatures and DO NOT cross breed HYs (or any macaws for that matter)

I have a feeling this is a scam ... or, at the very least, a non-legit operation ...

Based on some ambiguities and the lack of responses I suspect the dead grandmother may be nigerian royalty and not only are the birds free, but if you provide your name, address, SSN, and bank account information, a portion of the estate will be transferred to your account for the purpose of providing for said birds for the remainder of their life as this was in the grandmothers will. But this only will work if you have an american bank account due to some complicated problem with the original poster bringing said money into the country himself.


Ha, I was actually being quite facetious with most of this, but I decided for the heck of it to google that email address. Turns out it is associated with various spam ads on different forums as well as other 'pet adoption' related scams. I hope no one here has taken the bate.
