Have you checked local rescues and Craigslist? I belong to 2 pionus groups on facebook and I hear about Craigslist BHP all the time. Though idk how anyone could get rid of one!
I would like to get a bronze wing. I live in SoCAL also, but I don't use Facebook. when I look on Craig's list all I find are bird cages.

There is a male I just found on Craigslist in San Francisco. 2 years old but nippy. Owner probably doesn't understand its time for him to be hormonal. He's at that age...
